About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Security Contract Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of security services across multiple contracts, including cruise ship operations when in scope. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for operational performance, client relationships, and team management.
Key Responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for the delivery of contracted security services across multiple sites
* Accountable for security staff provision, operational instructions, and risk assessments, including cruise ship operations
* Maintain and develop Security Assignment Instructions and Risk Assessments in line with operational changes
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality front-line service delivery
* Recruit, manage, develop, and appraise supervisory and security staff
* Embed strong client service values and lead by example
* Manage staff welfare, disciplinary matters, and investigations in line with company procedures
* Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
* Monitor contract performance against KPIs and introduce service improvements
* Design and oversee scenario testing to ensure staff readiness for incidents
* Produce reports for clients and senior management
* Manage resources across contracts, including TUPE transfers where required
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a security management role
* Experience managing multiple security contracts
* Valid SIA licence (SG/DS/CP)
* Working towards or holding Port Security Facility Officer (PSFO) qualification
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Confident using MS Office and security management systems
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach

* Industry management qualifications
* IOSH Managing Safely
* Timegate system experience
* Membership of the Security Institute

* Salary: £49,440.41 (Salary from 1st of April: £50,923.62 (3% Increase)
