Technical Lead
Key Responsibilities:
* This is a hands-on role where you will be undertaking development alongside leading and guiding the development of your team, providing direction and oversight of the technical delivery for the digital products you are responsible for.
* Actively working on our Java and Angular codebase to implement new features and requirements, in partnership with Product Owners and Architects.
* Help establish and follow a set of engineering principles and best practices to ensure consistency and quality in the engineering process, including efficient and effective code reviews and team feedback.
* Assist with service support during office hours – identifying, locating, and proactively fixing faults.
* Provide mentoring and coaching to junior team members to improve overall team capability.
* Bring an energetic and proactive approach to tackling complex technical challenges, encouraging creative problem-solving and continuous learning within the team.

Skills and Experience Required:
* Hands-on and current technical experience in one or more of the following: Kotlin/Java, JavaScript/Typescript, Angular, AWS.
* Demonstrable evidence of leading and mentoring teams, strong stakeholder management, and effective communication at all levels.
* Experience establishing and implementing engineering best practices across multiple teams.
Essential Criteria:
* Graduate-level education (or equivalent experience) in Computing, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Skilled in leveraging automation to improve development processes and optimise software delivery.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities for tackling complex technical challenges.
* Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices, with a focus on building scalable, maintainable, and efficient systems.
