About The Role
Position: Festival Safety Steward
Schedule: Various shift patterns available through the summer
Hourly Rate: £12.21 - £13.68* (*hourly rate inclusive of holiday pay)
Contract Type: Fixed-term ending 30/09/2025

We are looking for new Festival Safety Stewards who champion our values to join our team.

You need to be over 18 to apply for this role.
Main Duties:
* Monitoring access points and site perimeter patrolling.
* Ingress control – ticket validation, accreditation checks, guest direction and queries.
* Crowd management – foot traffic direction, maintaining order, reporting anti-social behaviour, ensuring crowd safety plans are adhered to.
* Deliver approachable customer service and support.
* Monitor and report any suspicious behaviour/take appropriate action.
* Egress control.
* Reporting and recording details of irregularities, incidents, searches and patrols.
About You:
The ideal candidate will need to...
* Have a clear passion for Keeping People Safe.
* Have a good understanding of security risks and threats present at events and festivals.
* Be friendly and have great interpersonal skills.
* Have excellent communications skills.
* Love training: we have a learning culture and are rigorous in upskilling ourselves and others.
* Be happy camping and able to provide the necessary camping equipment.
* Be available to work over 24 hours per week when scheduling a festival. This is the minimum hours worked at the shortest festival in our calendar.

You will be subject to security screening in accordance to BS7858:2019 and a DBS check.
You will be required to gain your L2 in Spectator Safety certificate as part of your employment, this training will be provided by FGH training free of charge.
