Maintenance Technician
* Annual Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 + Shift Premium + Overtime
* Location: Mitcham / Croydon border (CR4 / CR0)

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of a high-speed operation that features modern bottling lines, palletisers, and process equipment. This role is ideal for someone looking to strengthen their skills in a dynamic environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Conduct first-line mechanical maintenance on bottling, filling, capping, and wrapping equipment.
* Troubleshoot issues on conveyors, motors, sensors, and pneumatics.
* Support the engineering team with machine changeovers and efficiency upgrades.
* Carry out routine inspections, part replacements, and fault diagnostics.
* Work closely with production and shift supervisors to meet daily targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Mechanical engineering experience in FMCG, packaging, or logistics automation.
* Exposure to high-speed production environments (bottling, canning, etc.).
* Working knowledge of pneumatics and minor electrical diagnostics.
* Relevant qualifications or apprenticeship in engineering or mechanical maintenance.
