HGV Class 1 Driver
Salary Range
Day driver (5 days a week) £39,898.16
Working Hours
12‑hour days, starting between 04:00 am and 07:00 am. 48 hours per week, Monday‑Friday.
DS Smith Logistics operates a large fleet of HGV Class 1 vehicles, with curtain‑side trailers, delivering and collecting DS Smith products across the UK from our four depots in Avonmouth, Launceston, Tuxford and Sittingbourne.

We use industry‑leading fleet equipment and technology in our modern vehicle fleet.
We offer bespoke ongoing training, including free in‑house 1‑to‑1 DCPC courses as standard, and we hold industry awards for our commitment to the environment.
Responsibilities
Transport paper materials to various UK locations or collect raw materials to return to your home depot.
Qualifications
* Must have a Category Class 1 license, a valid DCPC, and a valid Digital Tacho card.
* Safe and efficient driving, with good attention to detail, flexibility, a "can do" attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team.
* Travel time to and from the site (ME10 2TD) must not exceed 45 minutes, to comply with driving safety regulations.
