Overview
Salary up to £60,000 DOE. We are looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon with 2+ years of experience. The role may involve working across two sites, Oundle and Byre in Peterborough, with the split to be determined based on preference.
We are seeking someone with a good level of surgical competence for routine surgeries and common emergency procedures (e.g., pyometra surgery).
Responsibilities
* Work 4 days per week, 8:00–19:00, with 1 day off per week and a 1-hour lunch break.
* Occasional Saturday duties: 1/6 Saturday mornings 08:30–12:00 (Oundle or Peterborough options) and 1/6 Saturdays 08:30–17:00, with Friday afternoon as TOIL the following week.
* Cover one late shift per week (09:30–19:30).
* No Out Of Hours (OOH) required for this role.

Our practice group consists of a dynamic team of 14.5 FTE Vets, with a mix of skills including an exotic specialist and certificate holders. We regularly hold clinical meetings to share knowledge and ideas, and we are committed to investing in new equipment to support best practice. There is a strong ethos of collaboration, so you’ll always feel part of a larger team, even while working across multiple locations.
