Key Responsibilities: Working as part of a team, and responsible to The Corps Leader, the successful applicant will be responsible for the operational running and development of the weekly community programme, involving the safe delivery of mission, building compliance, financial administration, the management of a team of volunteers, and working closely with local agencies and church partners. The successful candidate will: The successful candidate will have proven experience running a complex and busy setting, delivering programmes which meet community need, and have strong financial management skills. They will have a good understanding of health and safety and safeguarding requirements. Of key importance will be a heart for disadvantaged people in our society, excellent relational skills, and experience in supporting people who are homeless or who have addictions and complex mental health needs. This role has an occupational requirement that the successful candidate must be a committed, active and practising Christian and will be in sympathy with the doctrines of, and supportive of, the purposes and the aims and objectives of The Salvation Army.
