Our client, a leading training provider with a proven track record in the training and development sector, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated MIS specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate data reports for internal and external purposes, with a key focus on DFE compliance and maintaining a high level of apprenticeships data quality. Key Responsibilities Data Compliance Ensure the highest quality data compliance for ongoing submission to external funding bodies, such as the DFE. Ensure maximum accuracy in data reconciliation between DFE and internal systems. Ensure timely submission of all ILR data in line within the timescales. Run monthly PDSAT reports, identify and correct errors prior to submission. Compliance Management Stay up-to-date with new guidance issued by DFE, such as revisions to return schedules and ILR guidance, ensuring relevant staff are informed of changes. Liaise with DFE to log and resolve emerging data issues. MIS System Development Play an active role in the continued development of the MIS system, ensuring its effective use across all departments. Facilitate research and development of dashboards to improve data visibility across departments. Support IT Services Assist IT Services with daily processes such as learner account creation, account monitoring, and spam email controls. Qualifications and Experience Essential Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar or related role. Knowledge of apprentice guidance and reporting tools. Knowledge of DFE funding rules and MIS systems. Good mathematical, English, and ICT skills, including strong analytical capabilities. Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally. Organised, motivated, and self-driven with a desire to make a positive impact. Commitment to Equality and Diversity. Ability to work well within a team and independently.
