Year 4 Class Teacher

Location: Strood, Kent
Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (September 2026 - December 2026)
Start Date: September 2026

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and inspirational Year 4 Class Teacher to join our dedicated team on a fixed-term contract from September 2026 until December 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning and ensuring that every child achieves their full potential.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience of teaching within a primary school setting.
• Be able to effectively plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
• Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and accelerate pupil progress.
• Be committed to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive staff team.
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the planning, teaching, assessment and reporting of a Year 4 class and will play an active role in the wider life of the school during their appointment.

The appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and all safer recruitment requirements.
