Prospero Teaching is seeking to appoint a compassionate, nurturing, and positive tutor to support a young refugee student in the Amesbury (SP4) area. Tuition is required 5 hours per week and ideally sessions would be split into 1/2 hour sessions across the week. As a Tutor, you will: Focus on: Communication development, emotional support, and basic educational engagement Assist the young person with communication Be positive, engaging and enthusiastic Create engaging tasks which will captivate learners Plan tasks/learning around individual learning needsAbout you: Experience working with SEN students, particularly those with communication needs A calm, patient, and empathetic approach Background in education, speech and language support, or alternative provisionPosition - Tutor Contract or position start date - ASAP Contract or position end date (if applicable) - N/A Full time/part-time - Part time- 5 hours per week Hours - Flexible Essential & Desirable Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience working within UK schools- ESSENTIAL Experience working with learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN)/ SEMH needs is highly desirable.
