The Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Nominated Individual (NI) to act on behalf of the organisation in relation to CQC regulations. The NI will ensure that our Adults Care Services are compliant, safe, and delivering the highest quality care.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide governance oversight of our Adult Care Services, ensuring compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards and Regulations; Regulations for service providers and managers - Care Quality Commission
* Support and challenge the Registered Manager to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care;
* Ensure safeguarding responsibilities for adults at risk are fully met and embedded in practice;
* Maintain effective relationships with CQC inspectors, commissioners, and external partners; and
* Provide reports and assurance to the Managing Director on compliance, risks, and performance.
About You
* leadership experience within adults' residential care and/or supported living (a minimum of 3 years' experience will be required);
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and governance frameworks;
* Excellent analytical and reporting skills;
* A genuine commitment to improving the quality of life for adults with complex needs; Drivers Licence (an essential requirement); and
· NVQ Level 5 Leadership and Management (this is a minimum requirement).
