What you'll be doing:
As a Lecturer in Business at Global Banking School, you will deliver management-related modules, develop and deliver comprehensive course materials, undertake all aspects of learning, teaching, and assessment, and stay updated with the latest developments in your field and student support practices.
Responsibilities include:
* Planning, delivering, and assessing student work to meet all learning outcomes
* Developing, updating, and improving course materials
* Using a variety of teaching methods and materials
* Engaging in staff development, peer observations, meetings, and administrative duties
* Staying current with developments in your field and student support
* Working towards objectives related to student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction, and progression
Qualifications and Experience:
* Master's degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable)
* Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the relevant subject area
* Extensive knowledge of the subject matter
* Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback
* Accurate reporting and maintaining organized student records
* Ability to work under pressure, plan, and prioritize workload
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
* Ability to work with diverse groups
Desirable:
* Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification, or commitment to enroll and complete within three years
* Experience in designing or developing academic or professional education programs
