Boccard are recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant to support a significant increase in recruitment activity as Boccard continues its journey of growth and expansion in the nuclear energy sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to building high-performing teams that will help shape the future of clean energy.
This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, part-time applicants will also be considered, reflecting our commitment to flexible and inclusive working practices.
Working in close collaboration with the HR Business Partner, Talent Acquisition Lead, and line managers, the Recruitment Consultant will deliver a comprehensive and efficient in-house recruitment service across all functions within Boccard UK. This role is responsible for proactively managing and driving recruitment activities to attract, engage, and secure top talent. The successful candidate will play a key role in building high-performing teams aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and committed to exceeding performance expectations.
Based at our Head Office in Sale, Manchester, the Recruitment Consultant responsibilities will include:
* Work closely with the HRBP and Talent Acquisition Lead to deliver a well rounded and efficient recruitment service to ensure roles are filled in a timely manner with high performing candidates.
* Work with hiring managers to fully understand the role and candidate requirements.
* Advertise new roles; from writing and improving job descriptions and adverts, working with external job boards and recruitment tools.
* Connect with and pre-screen candidates via telephone, video and face to face conversations and manage candidate communication.
* Assist the hiring managers with their shortlisting to reduce our time to hire.
* Arrange and assist with any competency based face to face interviews.
* Suggest improvements in the recruitment process to enhance the candidate journey.
* Support with onboarding of new candidates including sending offers of employment, inductions, new starter check ins and probation reviews.
* Ensure all roles have detailed and up to date role description.
Candidates must demonstrate:
* Resilience to handle a fast paced environment and high volume of recruitment
* Excellent communication skills both written and oral
* The ability to deal with stakeholders at different levels
* Confident and engaging to ‘sell’ our business and roles
Skills and qualification
* Be an established recruiter with experience of managing campaigns from advertising, sourcing and selection.
* Have experience using LinkedIn recruiter to proactively source candidates and to target passive candidates.
