Fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor to join our client's team in Canary Wharf, package includes 15% pension scheme, private health and dental care and more!
This is an off the tools Electrical Supervisor position and you will oversee all projects, approve vendors / material suppliers, oversee RAMs, Permits and MOs, whilst also liaising with clients on any on - going / proposed projects, carry out inspections before and after projects and ensure all health and safety measures are adhered to.
Electrical Supervisor Duties:
You will be in charge of the Permit to Work system for all infrastructure projects/contractors, ensuring permits are accurately reviewed, issued, controlled, and closed out in line with company policies and legal standards.
Review and approve RAMS submitted by contractors and in-house teams, verifying competency, insurance coverage, and equipment certification prior to work commencement.
Carry out thorough site inspections before, during, and after project activities to monitor compliance with approved RAMS and permit conditions, escalating any deviations or unsafe practices immediately.
Liaise with Health & Safety and other relevant departments to continuously enhance compliance and risk mitigation strategies on projects.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, near misses, or non-compliance related to project activities for Infrastructure Services Management.
Facilitate training sessions or toolbox talks focused on Permit to Work processes, safe work methods, and regulatory updates for project teams and contractors.
Electrical Supervisor Requirements:
Fully qualified in electrical installations / electrical engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent with wiring regulations)
Live within commutable distance to Canary Wharf ]
Experience as an Electrical Supervisor within maintenance, projects or installations
IOSH / NEBOSH - Desirable
Experience overseeing commercial projects
Experience handling RAMs, Permits and MOs
Salary and Package:
£58,000 per annum
Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm and 9am - 6pm
