Role Description
This is a freelance Senior Interior Designer position, focused on hotel and restaurant projects. The role involves space planning with auto-cad, creating innovative designs, concept mood boards and narrative development, photoshop rendering, developing interior construction drawings, and selecting FF&E to bring unique design concepts to life. The designer will collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients, overseeing the creative process to ensure the final design aligns with the project vision and goals. This is a full-time remote role, providing the flexibility to work from your preferred location while managing design projects, but ability to meet in London once a week is required.
Qualifications
* Prior experience in hospitality design, particularly hotels or restaurants, is required.
* Proficiency in Space Planning in Auto Cad to create functional and aesthetic layouts.
* Proficiency in putting together mood boards to create innovative design concepts relevant to the architecture and project
* Proficiency in photoshop rendering of all interior drawings
* Experience in interior construction drawings to collaborate effectively with construction teams and ensure accurate implementation of designs.
* Strong expertise in FF&E specification, sourcing, and coordination to bring projects to completion with high-quality finishes.
* Ability to manage projects independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, In Design or similar tools is preferred.
* Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, or a related field is required.
