Your new role
As a Business Manager, you will be contributing to the development and growth of your own account, engaging in business development, career management and P/L responsibilities.
Responsibilities
* Business development and account management: Create new business opportunities by prospecting new customers.
* Gather new business leads with existing customers.
* Close deals to support your clients with consulting or service centre contracts.
* Manage the delivery of your offers with the support of the technical direction.
* Recruitment and career management: Participate in the recruitment policy through the establishment of your own recruitment plan.
* Select and recruit the consultants who will join your team.
* Be in charge of the consultant career evolution (career management meetings, annual appraisal, training management).
* Be in charge of the level of service of your team on your clients projects.
* Profit centre management: Managing your personal account, with relevance to P&L, financial performance.
* Manage the customer relation and satisfaction to build long-term partnership.
* Manage your profitability in cooperation with other support functions (technical direction, finance) as part of the company’s financial growth.
* Align constantly your activity and manage the evolution of your offers to thrive in the development of a long term relation with your customers.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will possess a curiosity for the engineering sector, with a results-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset. They will be comfortable working in an international and fast-paced environment.
Experience required
* Bachelors or master’s degree in Engineering, Management or Business Administration.
* Significant industrial experience in a relevant industry, such as Oil and Gas, Renewables, Nuclear etc.
* Demonstrable experience in leading teams and performing business development activities.
* Experience working autonomously, being result-oriented, having an entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication skills and natural leadership is crucial.
