Job Description
* Managing the commercial performance of planned maintenance contracts across social housing frameworks throughout the South East.
* Producing cost reports, valuations, variations and final accounts as a Quantity Surveyor working closely with operational teams.
* Measuring roofing, scaffolding and planned maintenance works across multiple projects in the Bishop's Stortford region.
* Controlling subcontractor procurement, payments and account management to maximise contract profitability.
* Supporting the delivery of kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, retrofit and voids programmes for housing association and local authority clients.
Skills / Qualifications
* Planned Maintenance experience within a Quantity Surveyor position is essential.
* Social Housing sector experience working on framework contracts for local authorities or housing associations.
* NHF Schedule of Rates knowledge with a strong understanding of cost and value reconciliation processes.
* Proven ability to measure scaffolding, roofing works and planned maintenance projects accurately.
* Commercially astute Quantity Surveyor capable of working within a fast-paced environment near Bishop's Stortford.
