Stour Valley Community School Address: Cavendish Road, Clare, Suffolk CO10 8PJ Salary: £25,583 - £25,989 per annum Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week during term time, 38 weeks per year, 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 3.30 pm Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day. Plus 1 extra week on PD days. Contract: Permanent, required from September 2026 (subject to completion of relevant checks) Reference: 5127 Stour Valley Community School are seeking a Design and Technology Technician to provide vital support to the DT team. Duties include: Prepare and organise equipment and materials for use by students in the classroom Routine tool maintenance, contributing to the upkeep and organisation of resources within the department Supporting the students and teachers with activities in the classroom You will: have a wide range of experience relevant to DT tools, machines and materials be proactive and a good team player have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
