Based in Loughborough, our manufacturing facility handles everything in-house — from raw material processing to welding, fabrication, painting, and full assembly of bespoke acoustic units. Laser Operative
This is a superb opportunity for a Laser Operative to join the business through this rapid period of growth.
Responsibilities:
* Work in accordance with Wilmott Group procedures and bespoke systems
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and clients
* Inspect parts and materials using a variety of inspection methods
* Follow and interpret technical drawings and nest sheets
* Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of work areas
* Use engineering measuring tools (e.g. Verniers, callipers, micrometres)
* Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery
* Inspect and check materials before production
* Handle materials safely for transport to other departments
* Clean and prepare finished parts for the next stage of production
* Meet tight deadlines and productivity targets
* Report issues, delays, or concerns promptly
* Support other departments with general duties when required
* Comply with all health & safety procedures and report any hazards
* Wear and maintain appropriate PPE at all times
* Hours: Static -Days 6am till 2pm, Afternoons 2pm till 10pm (15% shift allowance), Nights 10pm till 6am (30% shift allowance).

* Competent in using engineering measurement equipment
