Platen & Zund Operator | Long Eaton, Nottingham | 8.15 am to 4.45pm Monday to Thursday, 7.45 am to 4.00 pm Friday | Salary negotiable after trial period
Our client has been manufacturing superior screen-printed products since 1948. As a trusted supplier in the commercial print industry, they produce everything from plant and vehicle markings to point-of-sale displays, advertising banners, and promotional prints for exhibitions and events.

Are you the right person for the job?
Minimum 1 year of platen operation experience
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and organisation skills
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20kg regularly
Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards
What will your role look like?
Performing daily safety checks on equipment at the start of each day
Setting up and operating die-cutting platens using steel rule dies to a high standard
Hand finishing and trimming, including vinyl graphics, weeding, and cutting to sheets
Setting up and operating the Zund digital cutting machine
Collaborating with the production team to meet daily targets and maintain quality standards
Following and verifying all details on job tickets to ensure accuracy
Carrying out any other related tasks as directed by supervisors or management
