Job Description
We are seeking a Production Scheduler/Allocations Coordinator for an ongoing contract based in Aberdeen.
This is a control room-based role working 12-hour shifts: 7 nights, then 1 day off, followed by 7 days shifts, totaling 20 days off.
Candidates should have a background in hydrocarbon allocations and knowledge of the Sub Terminal Allocation, Commingling, and Attribution agreement (STACA).
The role is based within the UK Dispatching and Coordination Centre (UKDCC) in Aberdeen.
The main responsibilities include:
* Monitoring the integrity and safety of all inter-field and intra-field pipelines.
* Optimising throughput to enhance company efficiency.
* Daily dispatching of sales gas to shippers.
* Monitoring gas sales quality to the grid infrastructure.
* Coordinating shutdown and maintenance activities.
* Serving as the initial contact for pipeline and medical emergencies.
* Coordinating production, transportation, and delivery infrastructures.
* Managing systems for 4 trunk lines totaling 1600 km, linking offshore and onshore locations, and overseeing related agreements.
Additional duties include:
* Generating long-term and weekly forecasts for the STACA system and issuing daily dispatch reports.
* Operating the STACA dispatch system and managing nominations through the Direct Marketing process.
* Executing hydrocarbon allocation activities accurately and promptly.
* Making quick decisions to avoid financial penalties.
* Maintaining communication with installations and initiating procedures if communications are lost.
* Communicating with partner assets and third-party operators.
* Providing gas availability data to marketing teams.
* Participating in emergency response exercises and ensuring compliance with safety and contractual standards.
* Supporting out-of-hours operations and conducting audits and reviews as per the UK System Operator Assurance Plan.
