The Opportunity
Flame Health Pharmacy is currently recruiting for an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist to join a modern and clinically focused Pharmacy operation based in Nottingham.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Independent Prescriber seeking a role that combines direct patient care, prescribing autonomy, and operational leadership within a progressive healthcare setting.
This is not a traditional retail Pharmacy role. There is no walk‑in counter environment, allowing greater focus on structured clinical care, safe dispensing processes, and service development.
The Role
This hybrid position offers a varied workload across both clinical and operational responsibilities.
Clinical Responsibilities
* Online consultations and remote patient assessments
* Video consultations where clinically appropriate
* Private prescribing services
* Weight management and GLP-1 prescribing pathways
* Acute condition management
* Ongoing treatment reviews
* NHS clinical services
This role offers genuine day‑to‑day use of your prescribing qualification with strong scope for progression.
Operational Responsibilities
* Act as Responsible Pharmacist
* Clinical and legal checking of prescriptions
* Supervise dispensary workflow and team activity
* Maintain governance standards and SOP compliance
* Support safe, efficient service delivery

Candidate Requirements
* GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
* Independent Prescriber qualification
* Strong IT skills and confidence using digital systems
* Ability to work on‑site in Nottingham

* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Interest in progressive Pharmacy models and service innovation
