This role is commission-based, offering you the potential to earn as you like. We primarily work with 14/10 and 16/14 subduct and your compensation will be directly tied to your productivity and the quality of your work.
What You'll Do
You will be a key player in building the essential network infrastructure that connects communities. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Install Lightweight Subduct: Be responsible for installing 14/10 and 16/14 subduct using a variety of techniques and equipment to prepare the network for fibre optic cable.
* Navigate Complex Environments: Work primarily in existing duct systems (underground) and on poles (aerial), testing and rodding to ensure clear pathways. You'll overcome challenges like blockages in congested areas and ensure a clean route for the subduct.
* Problem Solve: Use your skills to identify and resolve issues that arise in underground or aerial environments.
* Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with other technicians to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

* Experience: A solid understanding of subduct installation techniques and comfort with relevant tools and equipment, particularly with 14/10 and 16/14 subduct.
