Is a local building services consultancy which providesprehensive mechanical and electrical design solutions. They have a strong project portfolio of landmark projects including large residential masterplans andmercial fit out. Due to some key project wins, they are now looking to expand the team by bringing through Junior Engineers to work closely with Senior Engineers on projects with a view to promote internally in the future and focus on their development.
Your new role
You will have a solid mechanical design foundation, with experience working within a building services consultancy environment and a proven track record on a number of projects. This role is suitable for an Engineer who has recently stepped up from a junior/ graduate level and is looking for more training and support in order to gain quick progression. You will need to have experience working on a variety of projects, including experience onmercial or residential projects, however this is not essential.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong core technicalpetence and interest in project delivery. In addition, you will have an understanding of the principles of building services and other related building design disciplines.
You must also be-
1. Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services.
2. Proven experience (2+ years) in electrical engineering design within the building services industry.
3. Willingness to contribute to business development activities alongside Senior Engineers.
4. Experience working within a design team
5. Experience and awareness of major digital engineering tools, such as CAD/Revit. You will also ideally have experience of delivering projects in a BIM environment.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills
7. Willingness to get Chartered
8. Right to work in the UK for 5+ years (sponsorship is unavailable).
