We're currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President, Portfolio Management Infrastructure and Export Finance HSBC Infrastructure Finance group (HIF) is comprised of Infrastructure Finance and Export Finance and provides a full suite of financing solutions across the infrastructure landscape (airports, roads, ports, rail, PPP, digital infra, core plus), Telecoms, Logistics, Support Services, Power & Utilities & Renewables (PURE) and Commodities (Metals & Mining, selected Oil & Gas). The Portfolio and Asset Management (PAM) team within HIF is responsible for managing the HIF back book (existing clients) and have a wide range of responsibilities covering risk monitoring and management, reviews of transactions, regulatory reporting, review and analysis of covenant waivers and amendments, management of problem transactions/restructurings, identifying and supporting RWA reduction through secondary sales and other initiatives As an HSBC employee in the UK, you'll have access to tailored professional development opportunities and a competitive pay and benefits package. In this role you'll: Manage and monitor the performance of the allocated portfolio, comprised of Infrastructure Finance and Export Finance assets Identify and manage emerging risks in the portfolio and where appropriate recommend inclusion of transactions in the Watch Worry Monitor lists and present updates at WWM Committee meetings Undertake annual/periodic credit reviews of transactions and review customer risk rating (PD) and loss given default (LGD) at each review Monitor covenant compliance, using HSBC systems/tools and provide monthly status reporting Undertake any restructuring work that may be required and liaise with the origination team and Special Credit Unit Review legal documentation associated with waivers and amendments, escalating to Legal departments as necessary and coordinating with external legal counsels Liaise with Export Credit Agencies, Facility Agents, Legal Advisors, Technical and other advisors as required To be successful in this role you'll meet the following requirements: Experience of working on Infrastructure Finance and Export transactions, structures and financial models Have a strong analysis capability and used to working with complex financial credit data Background in Portfolio Management or similar 'account management' led roles with Institutional or similar financial sponsors High level of commercial awareness to be able to work with various sources of information to produce easily digestible reports and presentations Possess very good stakeholder management skills, coupled with a professional confidence that engender the view of a 'Trusted Partner' across a varied internal and external audience Demonstrate really good time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to managing multiple tasks often with conflicting priorities Opening up a world of opportunity.
