Business Development Manager – UK Water Infrastructure Lead


Do you have strong knowledge of the UK Water market, including AMP cycle priorities, major infrastructure projects, or strategic asset management?


Join a dynamic disruptor and growing company as a Business Development Manager focused on driving business development across the UK’s critical water infrastructure. In this role, "management" refers to the total ownership of the sales process—from initial market mapping and high-value prospecting to managing complex project pursuits.


We are seeking a proactive, "player-coach" style professional to manage our commercial presence in the Water sector. You will be responsible for identifying and managing new business opportunities with Tier 1 contractors, water utilities, and engineering firms, ensuring a robust pipeline for our innovative solutions.

The successful Business Development Manager will:

* Bring significant experience in a business development or commercial role within the UK Water Market or a related complex infrastructure sector.
* Demonstrate working knowledge of the UK water landscape, including an understanding of major capital programs and the procurement frameworks used by major Water Companies.
* Be highly skilled in strategic prospecting and cold outreach, with a track record of identifying decision-makers within large-scale infrastructure projects.
* Show an ability to build professional relationships with contacts at Tier 1 delivery partners, consultants, and water company capital delivery teams.
* Have exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a focus on managing the sales pipeline through a CRM and supporting the execution of high-impact tenders.
