Ready for a new challenge? We’re seeking two dedicated Account Handlers to join our thriving Commercial Team.
Working within our virtual call centre as part of the Commercial Team, your goal will be to achieve operational targets through promoting, selling, and servicing insurance products, while delivering excellent customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Handling inbound and outbound calls to generate new business and service existing customers.
2. Advising, recommending, selling, and servicing appropriate insurance products to meet customer needs.
3. Ensuring compliance with all insurance scheme and underwriting rules.
4. Meeting and exceeding personal, team, and departmental targets.
5. Recording and maintaining customer records per company procedures.
6. Adhering to FCA requirements, including following scripts.
7. Providing consistent, high-quality service.
8. Developing knowledge of our product range.
9. Participating in training and continuous development activities.
10. Maintaining professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
11. Performing any additional duties as required.
12. Upholding company standards for customer care and embracing Hughes Values.
13. Acting as an ambassador for the Hughes Insurance brand.
14. Collaborating with colleagues effectively.
Qualifications include:
1. Previous experience in insurance, especially within commercial or personal lines, is advantageous.
2. Experience with Open GI is desirable.
3. Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone.
4. Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
5. A passion for working with people, demonstrating empathy, dignity, and respect.
6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
