Are you looking for your next challenge? About the Role A number of exciting opportunities have arisen for 3 Client Finance Assistants to join our fast paced, well-established team. We are looking for dedicated and highly motivated team players to join us to support the administrative processes of the Payments Team. Our Client Finance Assistants play a critical role in processing accurate and timely payments to Adult and Children’s Social Care providers and dealing with customer queries in relation to invoices for social care services. In this role you will: Complete financial administrative tasks relating to payments to external care providers and individuals, for both Adults and Children’s social care providers. Maintain customer and provider records to a high standard. Identity inaccuracies relating to provider invoicing and payments and resolve associated queries sensitively and efficiently. Liaise with internal teams and external customers. Respond to enquiries from service users and their representatives via telephone, email and face to face. Carry out a range of administrative tasks such as invoice adjustments, raising credit notes, issuing statements and helping customers with payment arrangements. About you To thrive in this role you will: Have experience working in a financial or administrative environment. Be confident using IT systems, including Outlook, Excel, Word and financial/case management systems (experience of LiquidLogic and/or Controcc is desirable). Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong numeracy skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. Be able to communicate clearly and sensitively, including with vulnerable customers, their representatives and partner organisations. Work effectively as part of a team and show a positive, adaptable approach.
