Job Description
To keep up with our growth in the UK and Ireland, we’re looking for a dedicated Claims Handler to join our growing team in Birmingham. This is a key role in delivering a first-class claims experience to our clients, providing timely, empathetic, and effective claims handling across a variety of insurance products.

Using your skills, you will be:
* Dealing with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and other third parties in a professional and timely manner
* Managing client’s claims including advice on cover and indemnity
* Actively monitor progress on outstanding claims and provide timely and accurate feedback to clients and Account Executives
* Liaising with Insurers, Loss Adjusters and other third parties
* Dealing with claims on behalf of carriers on a delegated authority basis where agreements are in place
* Providing technical and administrative support to the Directors and Account Executives
* Undertaking other duties as assigned by Team Manager
* Running and amending client reports
We're looking for someone with:
* A high level of inter-personal skills with an ability to build successful, mutually beneficial business relationships
* Communication skills – someone who is able to communicate to people with various levels of knowledge, face to face, over the telephone and in writing
* Strong negotiation skills
* Planning, organisational and time management skills
* Problem-solving
* Computer literacy and a thorough understanding of Company software
* Good IT skills in particular Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
* Report writing
* Experience handling Property, Casualty and Motor claims
* Experience working in a Commercial Insurance setting
* Knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements
