An opportunity is available for a highly experienced RE or Principal EC&I Engineer for CE&I design supporting SMPrO Projects. The successful candidate will be required to lead a team of CE&I engineers and designers.
The assignment will be based in Warrington with occasional site visits to Cumbria as per the requirements of the project. Hybrid working is available based around a working week of 37 hours.
Qualifications & Experience
* BEng Degree
* IEng/CEng
* Chartership
* Experience of SL working practices
* Previous experience with the design of a broad range of EC&I services
* Previous experience with radiological / environmental monitoring systems
* Strong stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
* BPSS Minimum, SC
* Requires Sellafield IT/Pass
* Experience working in a fast-paced project environment
* Familiar with working under NEC3 contract
* Capable of working closely and effectively with engineers to deliver compliant design deliverables
* Able to actively seek input from other engineers, specialists, Utilities and project team members to improve understanding and deliver fit for purpose solutions
* Able to manage a package of work being delivered by the supply chain
* Be able to present information in forms specifically aimed at a variety of target audiences
* Ability to demonstrate competence in a design role (SQEP) inline with the role description detailed above
Setting for the role
The role will be mainly office based with trips to site if required. A safety induction will be provided.
