Health Records Clerk (2 positions)
Location: Bryn Y Neuadd, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB)
Job Overview
We are looking for two Health Records Clerks to provide essential support in the continuing care of patients, ensuring that case notes are accurately recorded, filed, and transported. The role involves pulling, filing, pruning, destroying, preparing, amalgamating and securely transporting case notes.
Main duties
* Support the Health Records Service vision towards a digital records future.
* Support delivery of the Health Records Operational Plan and assist Health Records Supervisors/Co‑ordinator/Assistant Site Manager.
* Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of all patient records.
* Operate within established expectations and remain calm under pressure.
Qualifications and experience
* Good standard of education or equivalent experience.
* Basic knowledge of the principles of confidentiality.
* Experience of working with Microsoft packages.
Desirable criteria
* NVQ or equivalent qualification/experience.
* NHS experience.
* Previous administrative and customer service experience.
* Confidence in speaking Welsh (desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers encouraged).
Other requirements
* Remain calm under pressure and flexibility to work the hours required by the post.
