We are looking for Drivers to join our client based in Thurleigh. Our client is a large automotive company and has operations throughout the UK.
The Role:
As a Compound Driver, your responsibilities will include:
1. Moving vehicles within a large compound, including workshop entries and bay parking.
2. Handling various transmissions (manual, automatic, semi-automatic) and inspecting vehicles for damage before moving.
3. Working outdoors in all weather conditions, with safety boots and car-friendly workwear required.
The Person:
4. Hold a valid UK driving licence for a minimum of two years, with no more than six points for minor offences.
5. At least 21 years of age, for insurance purposes.
6. Comfortable driving a diverse range of vehicle makes, models, and sizes.
7. Experience with both manual and automatic gearboxes is necessary.
8. Previous professional driving experience is advantageous.
