The successful appointee to this Personal Tax Assistant Manager position will report to an Associate Director and join an established team of 6 in personal tax and 15 across the department. Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting in managing a diverse portfolio of personal tax compliance clients.
2. Identifying personal tax planning opportunities and assisting in delivering advisory assignments.
3. Playing a key role in delivering estate planning services to clients.
4. Training and mentoring trainees within the team, developing their professional skills.
5. Building and maintaining trusted client relationships.
6. Overseeing the financial management of your portfolio.
7. Contributing to the firm's business development initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
* ACA and/or CTA qualified.
* Experience in personal tax compliance or managing a portfolio that delivers personal tax and estate planning services.
* Strong interpersonal skills to develop exceptional client relationships.
* Proficiency in identifying and delivering tax planning opportunities.
* Solid organisational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
* Leadership and mentoring skills, with experience in developing junior staff.
* Commercial awareness to contribute to business development.
