The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known andestablishedgeneral haulage business based in Newton Aycliffe. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 (CAT C) Drivers to join the team.

Job Type:Ongoing work / Temp to Perm opportunities available
Pay Rates:
Class 2 (CAT C):
£14.50 per hour (PAYE)
£16.25 per hour (including rolled up holiday pay)
Additional Payments:
£25 Night Out Allowance (applicable to all drivers completing nights out / tramping)
Shift Patterns & Start Times:
Start times available from 03:00 onwards (typically latest start 08:00)
2 night out per week required
The Role:
General haulage work across commercial and residential deliveries - multi-drop
Operatingcurtainsidervehicles
Vehicles are pre-loaded on arrival to site
Assistingwith offloading whererequired
Minimal handball involved overall
Occasional use of pallet truck and tail lift
Nationwide deliveries and collections
Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 2 (CAT C) licence
Minimum 1 year driving experiencerequired
Maximum 6 points for minor offences only
Valid CPC and Digi Card
Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
Reliable,professionaland flexible approach to work
