As a FLT Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of goods, inventory management, and operating forklifts to move stock around the warehouse. A valid forklift licence is essential for this position. Location: Skelmersdale Salary: £14.59 plus £3.08 Shift Premium Employment Type: 7 Month Contract Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 Hours per week, 3 shift rotation Must hold valid Reach and Counterbalance Licence Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a forklift to move and stack goods within the warehouse. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch. Organize and manage stock in the warehouse to ensure easy access and inventory control. Assist with stock-taking and regular inventory checks. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Report any damages or discrepancies in stock to management. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as required. Requirements: Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance, Reach and PPT). Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is an advantage. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. A proactive and positive attitude.
