We are looking for someone to provide operative support to the Operations team as required and to ensure that all deadlines and KPIs are met.
All Operations employees are expected to become multi-skilled to work in all areas if required.
The main tasks include:
1. Unloading vehicles and palletising IT Recycling collections.
2. Checking, weighing, and recording all job information accurately.
3. Using the dedicated computer system to record asset information.
4. Processing systems for refurbishment, including data wiping.
5. Repairing systems to maximize reuse opportunities.
6. Dismantling systems and other IT equipment prior to shredding.
7. Operating shredding equipment once fully trained.
8. Meeting departmental KPIs as outlined by line management.
9. Identifying equipment for resale on eBay.
10. Listing equipment on eBay with correct descriptions.
11. Testing various IT equipment.
12. Picking and packaging orders for shipping.

The ideal candidate will have excellent timekeeping, the ability to work well under pressure, keen attention to detail, and a mature approach to work using efficient practices.
Understanding of 5S and LEAN practices is desirable but not essential. A basic understanding of IT equipment is also preferred.
