We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Hotel Receptionist. As the first point of contact for guests, the receptionist plays a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This is a fast-paced role that requires the ability to multitask and handle various responsibilities simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
* Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel, ensuring a warm and friendly reception.
* Efficiently handle guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate completion of all necessary paperwork and procedures.
* Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
* Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
* Manage hotel reservations by accurately inputting and updating guest information in the property management system.
* Handle cash and credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
* Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest requests are fulfilled promptly.
* Assist in resolving any operational issues or emergencies that may arise during the shift.
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, ensuring a professional and inviting atmosphere.
* Collaborate with the hotel team to achieve sales targets, promoting hotel services and upselling amenities to guests.
* Stay up-to-date with hotel policies, procedures, and special promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
Requirements:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members from diverse backgrounds.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Proficient computer skills, including experience with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to handle cash and process financial transactions accurately.
* Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
