We’re looking for a proactive and professional Facilities & Compliance Coordinator to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Glasgow office and maintaining the highest standards of safety, environmental performance, and compliance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, minor works, and day‑to‑day facilities tasks.
* Manage contractors on‑site and liaise with building management and fellow tenants.
* Ensure effective delivery of soft FM services, including cleaning and vending.
* Support asset management for furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
* Monitor access control and CCTV systems to ensure ongoing compliance.
* Manage archive spaces and storage areas.
* Conduct regular workplace inspections to ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
* Maintain adequate First Aider and Fire Marshal provision.
* Undertake risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
* Investigate workplace incidents and follow through with corrective actions.
* Track compliance training and produce relevant performance reports.
* Maintain and continuously improve Solvd.’s Safety and Environmental Management Systems (SMS/EMS).
* Monitor and report against key performance indicators.
* Support preparation and participation in internal and external audits.
* Contribute to Information Security and Quality Management Systems as part of our integrated approach.
* Provide team cover during annual leave.
* Carry out other tasks as required to support business needs.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Strong technical understanding of building systems, maintenance, and facilities management.
* IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
* Knowledge of environmental legislation and sustainability practices.
* Understanding of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
* Experience conducting risk assessments.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills.
* Ability to work with discretion, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
* Flexible, collaborative, and proactive approach to problem‑solving.
* Degree‑level education or equivalent experience.
* NEBOSH General Certificate.
* NEBOSH Environmental Management qualification.
