Main duties of the job

As our Advanced Practitioner, you will deliver continuity of care through effective partnership working and lead the day-to-day operation of services by providing appropriate evidence-based treatment interventions. You will develop and disseminate emotional and mental wellbeing information, advice, and health & social wellbeing support in both group and one-to-one settings, including screening for emotional wellbeing.

About us

Our name reflects our identity - a positive space where people can progress, connect, and receive friendly, expert help tailored to their needs. Our staff team changes lives, and if you're passionate about helping people access support for issues with drugs, alcohol, and mental health, we'd love to hear from you.

The closing date for applications is 25th August 2025; however, early applications are encouraged as the role may close early if sufficient applications are received.

About the Role: Are you passionate about the wellbeing of young people? Do you have a genuine desire to support them in reaching their goals, exploring their values, and understanding their identity? Do you have demonstrable experience supporting young people to challenge their perceptions of wellbeing and improve their mental health and wellness? If so, we would love to hear from you about how you can support the impactful work we do at WithYou.

Please note that we do not have a sponsorship license and cannot sponsor visas. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the contract. The position is fixed-term until September 2026, primarily home-based with travel across North Somerset. Interviews are scheduled for early September 2025.

We are committed to building an inclusive culture that values diverse voices and experiences. We encourage applications from underrepresented communities and backgrounds, including those with lived experience, disabilities, racialized communities, LGBTQ+ individuals, people of all ages, and armed forces veterans.
