About the role
As Paint Assistant Supervisor, you’ll support and assist in leading the Paint Department. You’ll coordinate daily operations, oversee quality and safety standards, and help drive continuous improvement across the team.
Key responsibilities
1. Lead and supervise a team of painters, providing guidance and support
2. Coordinate work assignments and participate in production meetings
3. Prepare paint reports and maintain accurate records
4. Order and control paint stock and equipment
5. Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications
6. Maintain a safe working environment
7. Take part in process improvement initiatives
Who we’re looking for
8. Strong leadership abilities with experience of leading a team
9. Good understanding of paint processes and materials
10. Proactive approach to health and safety
11. Excellent communication skills, including liaising with client inspectors when required
12. NACE Level 2 certification or above
