Insurity’s NextBusiness Solutions Strategist

We’re seeking a dynamic and versatileBusiness Solutions Strategistto join our team and play a pivotal role in driving customer success, solution adoption, and strategic growth. This cross-functional role blendsSales,Customer Success,Solution Consulting, andProduct Expertiseto deliver tailored solutions that meet complex business needs across the insurance and geospatial technology landscape. You’ll be responsible for demonstrating how our solutions address specific customer challenges, enabling sales teams, supporting retention efforts, and building strong in-person relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires deep domain knowledge inEnterprise GIS,Catastrophe Modeling, andExposure Managementpractices, particularly within theLondon Market. This role is based in London and requires regular in-person engagement with clients and partners.

What OurBusiness Solutions StrategistWill Do

1. Sales and Customer SuccessPartner with Sales and Customer Success teams to demonstrate solution value aligned to customer business objectives.Lead customer adoption and retention strategies, ensuring long-term engagement and satisfaction.Support sales enablement through training, collateral development, and strategic deal support.Demonstrate how the solution meets client requirements and specific business goals.
2. Product and Technical ExpertiseAct as a subject matter expert across SpatialKey capabilities, APIs, and integration workflows.Collaborate with Product and Engineering to tailor solutions to client requirements and market demands.Translate customer needs into actionable product feedback and roadmap insights.Remain up to date on new releases related to the integration, architectural, and functional capabilities of SpatialKey.
3. Market EngagementBuild strong in-person relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.Stay current on industry and job-related trends and market demands, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc.Represent Insurity at industry events and forums, particularly within the London Market.Travel for in-person meetings and industry events as needed.

Who We’re Looking For

4. Recommended: 10+ years of experience in a hybrid role spanning Sales, Customer Success, Solution Consulting, or Product Strategy.
5. Preferred academic background in Geography, Geohazards, or a related discipline.
6. Strong understanding of Enterprise GIS concepts, including shapefiles and spatial data workflows.
7. Familiarity with Catastrophe Modeling tools and frameworks.
8. Experience with London Market exposure management practices.
9. Ability to guide clients through API-based integrations.
10. Experience working within the London Market, including Lloyd’s syndicates and/or specialty insurance carriers.
11. Proven track record of account management and strategic client engagement.
12. Consulting mindset with a focus on problem-solving and value delivery
13. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
14. Self-starter with a fast learning curve and proactive mindset
15. Flexible and adaptable in dynamic environments
16. Strong time management skills, including planning, prioritization, and organization
17. Capable of working both independently and collaboratively
18. Professional, customer-facing demeanor with strong interpersonal skills

We continuously analyze and update our salary ranges for our roles according to market trends to not only ensure our employees are paid fairly, but also help close gender, race, and disability wage gaps. Along with the benefits listed above, the salary range for this role is £62,000 to £97,000 GBP, commensurate with experience.
