Join to apply for the Airport Services Agent role at Emirates. The role involves providing quality service to customers in respect to check-in, boarding, special services, baggage services, ticket desk and Emirates Lounge in line with the Company's policies, standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
* Identify and meet standard and special service requirements of customers at check-in, transfer desk, special services and boarding gates, adhering to service standards and procedures to ensure friendly and efficient handling.
* Follow internal boarding procedures, manage boarding priorities, announcements, hand baggage handling, briefing, and equipment availability; post-flight reconcile flight coupons and confirm headcount to support safe, on-time departures and customer satisfaction.
* Guide and advise team members to uphold superior customer service and assist with ensuring on-time departures.
* Liaise with Emirates Chauffeur drive on arrival and departure; provide this service to eligible customers on arrival and assist those needing help on departure.
* Oversee baggage arrival, prioritise priority baggage, assist with missing or damaged bags, and coordinate with Emirates GHA for paperwork and follow-up, especially for Premium customers.
* Monitor check-in queues, prioritise Premium card holders, handle excess baggage and visa issues, communicate delays or disruptions, and support options scheme when applicable.
* Assist with pre- and post-flight documentation, station statistics, safety instructions, and reporting of any aircraft damage.
* Cover absence of check-in supervisor, prepare flight briefs for customers, and ensure staff and service providers are informed of expectations to maintain high service levels.
* Support and cover Emirates Ticket Desk duties, issue tickets, EMD, EBT, make and amend reservations, re-issue fares, validate credit cards, and assist with daily sales and banking duties.
* When required, support duties in the Emirates lounge and oversee contracted staff, ensuring catering, cleaning and maintenance meet service standards.
Qualifications
* You must have the legal right to live and work without restriction in the UK. Emirates cannot provide sponsorship.
* Be able to provide a full five-year work history to obtain an airside pass.
* You must live within a reasonable distance of Manchester airport and be willing to work on a shift pattern.
* Have experience working in the airport.
* Fluent in spoken and written English.
* Internal staff can apply if they have completed a minimum of 1 year in their current role.
