Galley Hill Primary School is seeking a dynamic and inspirational Early Years Leader to join our friendly and motivated team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to shape and develop our EYFS curriculum, ensuring our youngest pupils receive the very best start to their school journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach a Reception class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all pupils
* Lead the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provision, driving continuous improvement and best practice
* Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching to support individual needs
* Inspire and motivate pupils, setting high expectations and fostering a love of learning
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective curriculum across the school
* Support the professional development of EYFS staff and contribute to whole-school initiatives
* Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Required Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience teaching in Reception or Early Years settings
* Experience leading or coordinating EYFS provision, with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
* Ability to plan and deliver high-quality teaching that meets diverse learning needs
* Experience in working with children with special educational needs
