Job Role: Oracle Technical Support Analyst
Location: Sheffield - 5 days in office - some hybrid working available
Salary: £57, per annum
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Technical Support Analystto join our team at GFSL.

As an Oracle Technical Support Analyst, you will provide technical and functional support for our Oracle Fusion system which provides HR and Procurement applications that underpin critical operational services within the prison environment. You will be responsible for maintaining system stability, performance, and data integrity, while supporting ongoing optimisation and digitalisation initiatives.
Main Activities/Responsibilities:
1. Provide second‑line Oracle support, managing escalated incidents to ensure timely and effective resolution.
2. Plan and execute testing for Oracle Fusion change requests, supporting robust validation and safe deployment.
3. Develop and maintain OTBI analyses, dashboards, and SQL extracts to provide accurate reporting and support informed decision‑making.
4. Maintain data integrity and system security in line with organisational policy, audit requirements, and data protection standards.
5. Manage user access governance, including licences, roles, and permissions, ensuring least‑privilege access and compliance.
6. Contribute to quarterly update cycles, including test execution, issue management, and post‑release validation.
We are a Ministry of Justice business who provides critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Oracle Technical Support Analyst with the following:

10. Proactive, detail‑focused, and effective under pressure
11. Resolve complex technical issues through cross‑team coordination
12. Maintain high standards of accuracy, documentation, and analysis
13. Ensure data privacy compliance and adherence to HR system controls
14. Operate effectively in Agile or DevOps environments
15. Experience supporting Oracle HCM Cloud or similar enterprise HR systems
16. Knowledge of Oracle reporting, integration, and data tools ( OTBI, BI Publisher, OCI, APIs)
17. Strong SQL and data handling skills
18. Understanding of Oracle HCM/ERP data models and security
19. Relevant Oracle HCM Cloud certifications

Future Plans.
GFSL has been notified by its shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM Services will in future be delivered by the private sector. This means that following a successful procurement process, GFSL's services will complete transfer to a private sector provider/providers no sooner than August 2027. As the programme unfolds, we will learn more.
