Overview

Financial Administrator at The Springs Care Home, Spring Lane, Malvern. Salary £27,198.00 – £34,634.50 depending on experience. Permanent, Full‑time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Salary includes a welcome bonus of £1,000 if conditions are met.


Responsibilities

* Use bespoke software to raise invoices, process income, allocate cash, bank transactions and manage debt collection action.
* Coordinate with Local and Health Authorities to receive appropriate information and payments.
* Provide correct and complete documentation, including Terms and Conditions, for all admissions.
* Safeguard monies on behalf of residents and funds raised by the home; reconcile transactions to bank statements.
* Administer purchasing and supplier payments, manage petty cash and reimbursement processes.
* Process employee payroll and related information to ensure accurate and timely payments.
* Provide clerical support to the Home Manager, including letter writing, memos and local management reporting.
* Maintain filing system, stationary replenishment and personnel file management.


Qualifications

* Previous experience as a Financial Administrator or similar.
* Excellent customer‑service skills and friendly approach face‑to‑face and over the telephone.
* Organised, detail‑oriented, capable of building strong relationships with residents, families and internal/external teams.
* Efficient and able to handle a varied workload; caring attitude that underpins all tasks.
