Robert Half is partnering with a growing property and asset management group seeking an experienced Interim Finance Assistant to support the finance function.
You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth running of the day to day financial operations during a period of transition and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing, ensuring invoices and payments are managed accurately and on time.
* Support bank reconciliations, journal postings, and general ledger maintenance.
* Assist with cash flow monitoring and variance analysis.
* Maintain and update financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
* Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to resolve queries promptly.
* Support audit preparation and other ad hoc financial reporting requirements.
* Provide general administrative support to the finance team as required.
Skills and Experience Required
1. Previous experience as a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, or similar role (ideally within the property, real estate, or asset management sector).
2. Strong understanding of bookkeeping and core accounting processes.
3. Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or similar) and Excel.
