🔍 Key Responsibilities:

* Support students in small group settings or 1:1, focusing on academic progress and personal development
* Assist in managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour using restorative practices and trauma-informed approaches
* Help with planning and delivering individualised learning plans tailored to the needs of each student
* Work alongside teachers, behavioural specialists, and safeguarding teams to provide holistic support
* Monitor student progress, contributing to assessments and reporting back to the wider team
* Promote social and emotional development through targeted interventions and activities

🎓 We’re Looking For Someone Who:

* Has experience as a Teaching Assistant in a mainstream or alternative education setting OR
* Holds a degree in Criminology (or related field) and has a strong understanding of behaviour, youth crime, and social justice
* Has a solid understanding of trauma-informed care and effective behaviour management techniques
* Is patient, adaptable, and able to build strong relationships with vulnerable students
* Is committed to the principle of inclusion and providing the best outcomes for every student
