Senior Product Designer (Data Visualisation Focus)
I’m partnering with a healthcare client who is building products where data is at the core of the user experience, and they’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to shape how that data is translated into clear, intuitive and actionable insights.
This isn’t about making dashboards look good. It’s about helping users understand complex information quickly, spot patterns and make better decisions.
You’ll play a key role in defining how data shows up across the product — turning complexity into clarity.
What you’ll be doing
* Owning the design process end-to-end -from discovery and problem framing through to final UI and delivery
* Defining user journeys and flows, particularly where data, insight and decision-making are central to the experience
* Designing intuitive, scalable UX across complex, data-heavy products
* Translating complexity into clear, structured and easy-to-navigate interfaces
* Creating high-fidelity UI with strong attention to layout, hierarchy, typography and visual clarity
* Designing dashboards and data visualisations that enable users to quickly interpret and act on information
* Working closely with Product, Engineering and Data teams to shape solutions that are both useful and buildable
* Prototyping and iterating based on user feedback, testing and real-world usage
* Contributing to and evolving design systems to ensure consistency and quality at scale
* Taking ownership of quality - ensuring what goes live matches the design intent
What they’re looking for
* Proven experience delivering end-to-end UX/UI design on live, consumer or B2B products
* Strong capability across both UX thinking (journeys, flows, problem framing) and UI execution (visual design, polish, detail)
* Experience designing data-heavy products (dashboards, analytics platforms, reporting tools)
* A portfolio that demonstrates both product thinking and high-quality UI craft
* Ability to simplify complex problems into clear, usable and visually intuitive experiences
* Strong interaction design skills, particularly around navigation, filtering and data exploration
* Confidence working cross-functionally and influencing product direction
* High proficiency in Figma and modern design tools
* Someone who cares about both usability and visual quality, not one at the expense of the other
What makes this interesting
* Opportunity to shape how users interact with and understand data at scale
* A product where design directly impacts decision-making and business outcomes
* High ownership and influence over how complexity is simplified
* A team that values clarity, usability and product thinking over surface-level design
