Senior Finance Manager – Interim (Defence/Bristol)
We are working with an exciting new client and before we sign off for the year, we want to make sure you know about this opportunity! This client is scaling fast and needs a qualified accountant, with strong industry experience, to take a lead on the Commercial Finance & Operations.
Responsibilities
* Lead on end-to-end Finance Operations (AP, AR, payroll, treasury).
* Manage banking/funding relationships and cash flow.
* Oversee compliance, legal, and operational efficiency, and strategic growth.
* Shape and support further expansion in international markets (EU, USA, UAE).
* Own Finance Operations end-to-end (AP, AR, payroll, treasury).
* Empower a small team and implement scalable processes.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3-5 years industry experience – within a multinational business OR within a fast‑growing company.
* Experience scaling finance operations while maintaining compliance and controls.
* Strong understanding of payroll, credit control and margin management.
* Exceptional organisation, commercial awareness and accountability.
* The ability to spearhead a team, encourage growth and development in junior members.
