Finance Assistant – Accounts Receivable / Sales Biller About Us We are a dynamic Claims Management business based in Egham, Surrey, working closely with insurance and broker firms across the UK. We pride ourselves on delivering excellence, innovation, and integrity in everything we do. About the Role We’re recruiting for an experienced Accounts Receivable professional to join our finance team. This is a high-volume, detail-critical role that works closely with our Credit Controller and Sales Biller. Candidates with backgrounds in Sales Ledger or Sales Billing will thrive here. This is not a role for Management Accountants or general Finance Assistants—we’re looking for someone with hands-on billing experience and a sharp eye for data accuracy. Main Duties Process 300–400 invoices weekly across multiple formats Update and collate data in Excel daily Duplicate charge notices for insurers via Sage Intact Use Sage Intact, Proclaim, and Advance (bodyshop system) Collaborate on weekly Statement of Owing sheets for insurers Perform V-lookups, data analysis, and import/export tasks in Excel Act as the bridge between databases and Excel for daily/weekly workflows Resolve internal queries to ensure timely invoicing Reconcile AR ledgers and maintain a clean debtor ledger Handle incoming calls, daily post, and general finance admin Key Skills Strong numerical and analytical skills Experience with billing systems or finance software Advanced Excel skills (V-lookups, data manipulation) Familiarity with Sage Intact and Advance preferred High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent organisational and communication skills Proactive mindset with a drive to improve processes ✨ The Essentials Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance department Permanent, full-time role Hybrid working model Opportunity to grow within a values-driven organisation Ready to Apply?
